This weekend (April 13th - 15th) my roommate and I are having a RBI college reunion with a bunch of friends. I see on the site that there are all sorts of sound clips but I can't download them. Can someone send me these or tell me where to go that they are already available to download?
Additionally, I want to applaud everyone who made this web site and everyone who has ever read it. I found it by complete accident last week and have laughed my ass off. I printed several sections up and have it ready for the tourney this weekend to show my friends. We thought we were alone in our RBI world but......NO! I'm like, I want to hang out with all the guys that made this site because these are my people!!! Anyways, you get what I am saying.
PS - I have hit a walk off game winning grand slam with Ozzie Smith against my roommate and I still mock him to this day. I too can confirm this actually happening despite his 1 little homerun.

I will pass this requests along to the out of towners coming being that thus far I have not seen any rodents where I live. But spiders...... check. Also, did you want the rodents to be dead or alive? This is of course important and I'm sure just an oversight.
PS - Said guests with wives thankfully are not bringing said balls and chains with them. So, we will just have to find hookers or a waitress from Hooters to pose for this little photo shoot.

I checked out the event in Funlumbus. Is this event being heavily endorsed by you guys?

joedirt is the forum member here who is runing the tournament. the 2007 ohio national rbi tournament carries our highest of endorsements.
Yeah, what ultimate7 said... as long as you can burn MP3s to CD (pretty much any burning program should handle this), you should be good to go - just right-click on any of the links, "Save To Disk", and burn them once they're downloaded.
In addition to the sounds from the actual game, the Dylan Gentile MP3s (the second techno one and the acoustic one) are very highly recommended.

You will fit in nicely here. You may want to check out the Anything Goes board as well; current topics include recent movie releases, electronics, advice on sexing a married woman in an open relationship, and whether beer mixed with Tang is a good idea. Many people post there with drinks in their hands.

The guy running the tournament lives in Columbus. He was in the bi-annual Championship of the Universe Tournament (http://www.rbibaseballcotut.com/) in Chicago, and it was such a good time that he thought there should be a similar event in odd-numbered years.

Interesting usage of barn in the Swedish world. So is there like barn porn? Well that couldn't be right because I didn't translate porn. But I think that word is as international a word as McDonald's. Porn. Say it. But then the confusion may arise for a poor Swedish dude that's feinding some good beastiality porn and through a twist of fate ends up with kiddie porn unknowingly. Barn is for Byron. A nickname I picked up many a year ago. It's nothing cool like EDavis (Ed Avis as we pronounce it when he is up to bat).
The main Dee-Nee crew is in Chicago (or at least the surrounding suburbs)... you would probably be able to find some RBI games if you wanted some new competition.
