Pre-emptive "Cunted!"

Woohoo, another game I get to watch!

Murphy finally had a break-out game in Week 9, in the midst of an otherwise anemic offensive performance from the Sally Cunts.  Look for DwEvans to finally get jump-started today.  We really need the offense to start living up to Sally Cunt standards.

Mitchell isn't bringing the pop like he did last year, either.  Lots of disappointing offensive performances so far.  Can only hope the law of averages comes into play and these guys start hitting the ball.

Madlck is hitting .705 with 9 jacks. Well hung he is...

Raines has shown pop, but he hasn't done the little things that it takes to win ballgames.  Lots of homers from him but few doubles stretched to triples, singles stretched to doubles, clutch steals, etc.

Hell of a job by your bullpen shutting us down the last four or five innings and making a game of it (well, at least until the end).

Interesting observation - in the third or fourth inning with a runner on first and two outs, the Alliance batter (Trammell, I think) hit a pop-up right by third base.  It was high enough that the runner was almost to third by the time it landed, and the pitcher caught it while standing in the same place as the runner.  Apparently the game processes tags before it processes caught flies, because the runner ran off the field crying, while the batter stayed at first.

hmm, I guess someone would have to analyze the computer's logic when it comes to deciding which players run off the field crying. Which is too depressing of a task to even comprehend.

CUNTED!

The boys put up a valiant effort, I actually felt ok about this loss, made it close several times after big deficits.

CUNTED!!

The offense finally showed up.

It may not be reflected in the stats, but Viola had another big performance.  He shut them down for the first three innings, enabling us to get a big enough lead to where we didn't have to take him out and put Saberhagen in, at least for a while.

Murphy once again produced, and we had a pretty balanced offensive attack.

The Sally Cunts are once again a threat.

I can't believe there was another extra inning game yet again. I think every week has had a game go extra innings. I'm pretty sure the OC is going to smash last year's team HR record that the Legions of Doom set. And I think big mack hit another 3 jacks. He's on pace for over 30 this year.

And Viola is making a name for himself now. Cox seems to be struggling...kinda surprising. And Ryno's pitching staff may shatter the team ERA record from last year's of 10.something that the Empire had.

SPOILER

Madlck is well hung, that is all. You play the Empire, don't ever think you have a win wrapped up because you have the lead late in the game. We find ways, we are the Empire. And Nando pitched lights out and Robnsn as well. Having the best closer in the business is paying huge dividends. I wasn't able to get the best pitching staff, but they can get us to the show---and having a superior bullpen. Mdlck for MVP?  The Empire is running away with the Dove RBI division.

There were a lot of BOP's this week, so I had a check on the errors to make sure it was on 2. And I guess it has been on 3---which is low but not low enough. OF's dropping flyballs in my league is unacceptable. I'll be sure to check the damn BOP rating each week to make sure it's on 2.

we won, but it was incredibly shitty. ..  .offense needs to get its head out of its ass and put up at least 12-15 runs.

OC Legions of Doom pull away from the Alliance in the 10th

Madison (AP) - The OC Legions of Doom scored 6 runs in the 10th inning and T.Worrel tossed a scoreless 10th as the OC won a thriller 25-19.

Down 13-2 in the bottom of the third, the Alliance narrowly escaped a mercy rule defeat by scoring 3 runs. The Alliance chipped into the deficit all game, but could never overtake the lead as the OC did just enough to pad the lead all game. However, down 19-17 in the bottom of the 9th inning, the Alliance tied up the game and were threatening with Nokes at second base with one out. Boggs grounded out and Nokes advanced to third. Lmbrdz came up with the game on the line, but Worrel got him to pop out and that was as close as the Alliance would come.

In the top of the 10th, the OC managed six straight hits with two outs and Lindmn capped off the string of hits with a 2-run bomb which was more than enough. The OC once again displayed their team power by hitting 9 HR's and they are now 5-1 in their last 6 games.
Dwning and GDavis each went 6-7 and combined for 5 HR's and 9 RBI.

OC Legions of Doom 6-4, (3-3)
Rebel Alliance 4-6, (3-4)

Galactic Empire pull off late inning heroics once again

Chicago (AP) - The defending champion Galactic Empire seem to thrive in tight ballgames down the stretch. The Empire outscored the Fighting Ulrachers 8-3 in the final three innings and held on to win 15-13 in an exciting match up of first place teams at Soldier Field. The victory was the Empire's first in four tries over the Ulrachers---formerly known as the Nimrods and Fighting Cutlers.

In the 8th, the Empire went up 12-10 after Gaetti lasered a RBI double which was followed by Madlck's 3rd HR of the evening. In the bottom half of the inning, the Ulrachers responded with a W.Clark RBI double and a two-run oppo shot by DaEvans, his third of the evening which gave the first place Gantry League Ulrachers a slim 13-12 lead going into the 9th.

In Empire like fashion and down to their final out in the 9th, D.Strwby hit a gorgeous high-arching HR to tie up the non league contest. Donnie Baseball then doubled and G.Gaetti hit yet another game winner as he doubled down the line to give the Empire a 13-12 lead.  Madlck then registered his fourth hit of the evening with a RBI double.
In the 9th, D.Robnsn retired the side and earned his 5th win of the season.

B.Mdlck led the Empire offense with 3 HR's, a double, and 5 RBI's. He is now leading the league in hitting with a .730 batting average. Much credit should be attributed to Nando and his screwball as he only allowed 2 hits and no runs in his long relief appearance.

The Empire remain in first place in the Dove RBI League and have now occupied that spot in 31/32 weeks. Despite the loss by the Ulrachers, they are still in sole possession of first place in the Gantry League.

Galactic Empire 7-3, (4-2)
Fighting Ulrachers 7-3, (5-1)

D.Murphy's big night helps Sally Cunts to 3rd straight win

Oklahoma City (AP) -  D.Murphy hit 3 homers, drove in 7 batters, and scored 5 times as the Sally Cunts won 20-17 in a game that was not as close as the score indicates.

The Sally Cunts had commanding leads of 8-0, 14-5, and took a 20-15 lead going into the bottom of the ninth inning. Not once did they trail in the game, but not once did they put the game away out of reach as the Badasses did their best to make a game out of the otherwise dull game.

An eye opener in the game and a key difference was J.Bell. The perennial top 3 pick went a dismal 0-6 in the game, the superstar's first hitless game in his storied career.

The Awesome Badasses did have their best chance in the bottom of the 8th inning with runners on second and third base with Rich "The Destroyer of Dreams" at the plate. However, the only dream he destroyed was the Awesome Badasses chance at a victory and keeping their slim hopes for the playoffs alive as D.Smith got Gedman to fly out and end the threat.

The Sally Cunts remain in a second place tie with the OC Legions of Doom in the Gantry League with their third straight victory. The Awesome Badasses have yet to win a divisional game and share the league's worst record with the Fighting Artichokes.

Sally Cunts 6-4, (5-3)
Awesome Badasses 3-7, (0-7)

Pabst Blue Ribbons use solid pitching and rally late to defeat struggling Artichokes

Arkansas (AP) - The pitching staff of the Blue Ribbons continue their mastery over the league and used a 6-run eighth inning rally to overcome the Fighting Artichokes at Razorback Stadium.

D.Sutton pitched another strong performance as he kept the Artichokes in check by allowing only 1 run in his 3 innings of long relief. Down 8-5 in the bottom of the 8th inning, the Blue Ribbons jumped on RP Reardn for 8 hits and 6 runs as C.Lemon shook up Reardn with a solo shot, his third of the evening. Kerfld only allowed one run in the ninth and earned the win as the Blue Ribbons held another opponent to under 9 runs and got enough offense this time.

C.Lemon carried the Blue Ribbons by going 4-6 with three HR's and 6 RBI's. The Blue Ribbons are now only one game behind the Sally Cunts and OC for second place, and 2 games behind the Fighting Ulrachers.

Fighting Artichokes 3-7, (2-4)
Pabst Blue Ribbons 5-5, (4-3)

Krukow's strong finish the difference

Milwaukee (AP) - With the game even at 5 in the 7th, the Poopydicks scored 5 in the 7th and another 5 in the 8th and Krukow gained strength in the stretch as he helped secure a 15-10  Dove RBI League victory over the host Banana Hammocks.

D.Dcincs blasted 3 HR's and drove in 5 while B.Boone went 4-5 with a HR and 4 RBI's to lead the Poopydick offense. M.Krukow pitched 5 solid innings in long relief and got stronger as the game went on by allowing only 1 run in the final two innings. SP Reushl also pitched well in his start as he only allowed 4 earned runs.

A key factor was the 8th inning. With the Poopydicks up 10-9, RP Stanly came in out of the pen for the Hammocks looking to keep the game manageable. Unfortunately he gave up a 2-run homer to Dcincs and a 3-run shot to B.Boone and just like that the Poopydicks were up 15-9 and never looked back.

The win by the Poopydicks places them in sole possession of second place in the Dove RBI League and two games behind the juggernaut Galactic Empire.

Banana Hammocks 4-6, (3-5)
Poopydicks 5-5, (5-2)
