Title: Roger Clemens loses his Hummer..
Post by: fightonusc on 03/23/05, 04:47:36 PM
No, not that, you sick freak. I mean the vehicle he received from the NY Yankees after he won his 300th game. (http://yahoo.usatoday.com/sports/baseball/nl/astros/2005-03-23-clemens-hummer_x.htm?csp=1) In a related story, his son has been grounded until he's 50.

QuoteHe began letting Koby Clemens drive the orange Hummer to school after he signed a letter of intent last November to play baseball for the University of Texas, whose colors are burnt orange and white. Before that, Koby drove a black Hummer to school.

Nice to see were color coordinating our Hummers.

Didn't the Astros give Clemens a burnt orange Hummer in an attempt to woo him to signing with the team last year?

There's no way I'd let my high school aged kid drive a $50,000+ automibile, no matter how rich I was.  I hope the thieves drive the damn thing into a lake.

Couldn't agree more.  I'm sure Kody will have a real good understanding of what real life is when he grows up.

And I can't stand that all of Roger's kids names start with the letter "K."  Pretty fucking stupid.  That would be like my kids names all starting with "B" because I love beer so much.  Bobby, Billy, Bonny, Betty, Brian and Brandy.  No thanks.

Hey, lets not forget the victim here.  Poor Kody has to drive the black Hummer now, what an eyesore....

Back in my day, I drove a 1982 Chrysler New Yorker to high school and loved every minute of it!

How hard is it to find an Orange Hummer?

I think most of the original Hum-Vees had custom paint jobs if they weren't one of the generic colors (black, grey, tan, camo, etc.)  I have no clue about the ugly new version, they seem to come in every hideous color imaginable.

I'm thinking we need a "your first set of wheels" thread :D

I considered myself fortunate to drive a Ford Probe. . . .  . . . looking back, the name of the car seems kinda gay / ghae

There's a guy from my hometown who named all his daughters after himself (Dan) - Danci, Danika, Danielle, and Dantae.

I completely agree with BeeJay - kids should have to drive shitty cars, because that's a high school rite of passage.
