Brookens was the man in this one with 3 jacks.  Downing and Brookens went back-to-back twice, making them probably one of the most feared 1-2 punches in the league.  Gooden had the lead for a while but Reuschel couldn't hold it for him.  A valiant attempt at a comeback by vgp's squad in the 9th, but Boone choked in the final at-bat with a runner on 1st.
