I have been watching it in somewhat-fast-forward.  I watched all of Cal Ripken and Dan Gladden's speeches, and Hrbek is up next.

Little Known Fact: Kirby was beat out by Hervé Villechaize to play the part of Tattoo on Fantasy Island.  If it wasn't for the oversight of casting director Jim Merrick, the baseball community never would have had the pleasure of meeting Kirby Puckett.  (aka Kirby Fuck it)

I've been using Minnesota a lot lately in honor of Kirby. Typically I'll use Boston followed by San Francisco with the Twins as my third choice. I love their pitching staff and keep thinking Kirby is going to come through for me, unfortunately more often then not this isn't the case; I'm not all that impressive with Puckett.

Any hit I do get is immediately credited to "the sprit of Kirby (who) is in the room right now"
