it would have to be down the line for the most part...no power alley shots or center field homers. 

hasn't it been proven that straight away center is the shortest distance from home?  If any pitcher can do it, i would say clemens or key

Center looks shorter, but only if you don't correct for the angled perspective (because you're not looking at the field from directly overhead).  The actual distance is longer, and I think experience shows that it's harder to hit homers to CF as well.

When fighton did his original measurements, he just measured distance, like in pixels, and it was shorter, or maybe about the same.
