- In the bottom of the 5th, Strawberry hit a 3-run homer to give Dv a 13-6 lead with no outs
- Gagne's 2-run triple gave Dv a 15-6 lead with 1 out
- Needing a base hit to end the game, Brenly came to the plate, and struck out
- Clemens had a chance for a walk-off hit, but popped out to short
- Gj cut the lead to 5 in the top of the 6th, 10-15
- Joyner's 3-run shot gave Dv a 19-10 lead in the bottom of the 6th, with 1 out
- Brookens followed with a single, and represented the winning run with Gagne coming to bat
- Gagne popped out, and Brenly came to bat with another chance to end the game
