Just noticed that 27 players are averaging at least 1 HR per game so if a player is averaging less than 1 HR per game, they are basically in the bottom half of the league in HRs (64 regulars in the league)

TBT 15 Other 14

Fighting to keep his postseason hopes alive, TBT was down 12-2 in the 5th, it wasn't looking good, but John Tudor was able to hold other for a few innings and TBT cut it to 12-9.  Heading to the bottom of the 9th it was 14-9 Other, and TBT's season was all but dead, especially after a lead off ground out by Mickey Mantle.  But a double by Reggie and a HR by Horner forced Gaylord Perry from the game.  In came Lew Burdette and Darrel Evans greeted him with a HR followed by doubles from Murphy and Tennace cutting the score to 14-13, GDavis then hit a 2 run PH HR to end the game, and now TBT has to watch Attez and hope that he will get a chance.

Attez 23 Nomaa 18

Attez manages to clinch the division title having to come from behind after giving up 7 in the top of the first.  Attez pulled ahead 13-8 in the 4th thanks to another PH HR by Chet Lemon.  Nomaa managed to tie the game at 13 in the 6th, but Attez got 5 in the bottom of the 6th and never looked back.

Octo 35 Bonny 24

Octo's batters got themselves warmed up for next week's showdown against Ult, their pitching staff, not so much.  Mike Scott got hit hard early giving up 9 in the 3rd as Bonny pulled ahead 11-1, but, Octo got 3 in the 3rd and then 10 in the 4th and 9 in the 5th pulling ahead 23-16 and seemed to have the game in control leading 32-22 going into the 9th.  But an already tiring Saberhagen gave up a series of HRs ending with PH HRs from Seitzer and Oquendo scoring 8 off Sabes without recording an out, then they managed 4 more off Henke to pull ahead 34-32, but Lee Smith couldn't get it done in the 9th as Gaetti led of with a HR and Octo followed with a bunch of hits ending with a 1 out RBI single by CansecoNES to win the game.

There were 93 hits and 30 HRs hit in the game by the 2 teams.  Octo got HRs from 9 different hitters while George Bell knocked 4 out for Bonny.

Ult 33 Bast 23

Ult built a 14-7 lead after 3 hitting 17 singles in the first 3 innings and they never looked back.  Bastardo cut it to 21-17 in the 7th but that was as close as it got as Ult added on 9 runs in the bottom of the 7th to put it away.  The win now guarantees that the winner of the final game of the season between Octo and Ult will win the division.
