Please help me!  I just found this website and I'm a huge RBI fan from back in the day.  Until I buy a gme controller how do I use my keyboard to play RBI?

I can't to play my old NES is long gone, but RBI rocks!  I've always loved RBI, more than any football game.

You don't mention which emulator you're using, so we can't really help you. Look for input configuration settings, or read the help and/or readme files that came with the emu ...

Thanks, I'm using FCE Ultra 0.98.10

(top menu bar) config > input > "NES-style input ports" section, go to port1, select "gamepad" from drop down menu > configure > "virtual gamepad 1" click on each button in the dialog box and then use your keyboard keys to assign the corresponding key you want to use.  click close when finished.

i've used the keyboard for almost ten years with nintendo emulators.  i believe it's possible to be just as proficient with a keyboard as it is to use some sort of gamepad.  i use the arrow keys on my laptop for the directional pad and "z" and "c" for b,a buttons.  i've also assigned a,d for turbo for other games such as track and field, california games, etc.  good luck to you, medley.

thanks, wow I've missed this game!

How do you tag up?

use the direction key to point back to the base and push either "a" or "b"  (i don't know how you set up your keyboard inputs.  but it should just take you a couple times to figure it out.  point toward the next base and use the other button to advance after the fielder has had a chance to catch the ball.
