Will anyone be able to help me set rbi up on my cpu so i can play online.  I have no idea how to set it up and will need one on one instruction?

I'm the resident online professor round these parts. I'd be happy to assist. Hit me up on AIM and well get ya going. Just so I know how deep the poop is, rate your computer ability on the following scale:

1 has trouble doing anything cmputer related
2 can surf and send email, IM efficiently
3 knows how to work with files, unzipping, copying
4 familiar with basic networking, knows what an IP address is
5 can do most mid to advanced computer stuff

prerequisites
ability to follow instructions
patience (most people take a half hour to get setup, others simply fail after hours of trying)
helpful if you have your router username and password (not your security key)
your router model number can be helpful
knowledge of whether yiu run a firewal on your computer (norton, mcaffee, etc)

sound intimidating? It sounds worse than it is. Your other option to skip all this is to use hamachi, although I like to try the router stuff first cause after the first time, it's more convenient.

I know the basics of computers as far as email, IM.  I know little else in terms of IP addresses, firewall , etc.  I will be very patient.  I am taking my daughter to lunch but will be in later and I am off tomorrow.  I will try to make contact with u later.  Thank u very much.  I am eager to play against someone other than my son.  To answer the other person's question, I don't know fast pitch, curve pitch.  I just play.  But if there are certain rules we play by I will do whatever.

Looks like we're probably looking at hooking up Thursday then, tonight I'm watching Lost and spending time with the fam...

Being patient is the most important part. The other stuff I can teach.  If we config your router, you'll never have to config it again and you can avoid using hamachi.  The initial setup sucks, but after that, you just play.  With hamachi, you use another program to connect to each other and bypass your routers.  it's a bit less convenient...
