I just broke out my old original (1985) NES, still works.  Tried programming a few GG codes for the original RBI.  Made one that's quite interesting!  If you have the cart and the game genie, try it,  it's good for a few chuckles......

Input the code TVTVTV.  Just make sure you make contact with the ball, all you have to do.  There'll be weird silly sound effects like when you hit a popup, and it'll never stop.  EVERY ball hit goes a super long way (or should).  ALL BUNTS go high and far for homers!  If a fielder does happen to get to a ball,  they'll throw way high and it'll never come down, you have to run to score.......

it's fun for a while, you never make an out!  Unless you bunt foul on 2 strikes....

Brookensrules!

One could also strike out?

-This one disables the 10 run rule... NYSLPSZE

-Nightwulf came up with this to allow both players to use the same team.

There's really no better way to do this, 'cause of the limitations of the Game Genie, but here it is ...

Player 1 can choose Player 2's team when moving the team selector from left to right.

Well I love the "disable 10-run rule" code.  You can automatically change that in RBI 2 and 3 (well it's actually a 12-run rule there).

It's just so much fun to keep on hitting in RBI...... I hate when I'm up 10 runs early and I have to let the other team get up to at least 9 away.....

It works differently in RBI 2 and 3, also - it's not a formal rule and doesn't apply to two-player games.  Rather, the computer team forfeits anytime they're down by 12, and they don't wait until the end of the inning or anything.

Yep, you said it better, thanks.
