This game was total ass 'n' titties, to steal a phrase from the OG Dee-Nee crew. Hats off to Ultimate7 for winning this shit fest.

Game Summary:

The Creamy Pirates played fundamentally sound baseball in winning their first two games of the Fantasy RBI League season. Thursday against The Nimrods, they were anything but sound, and that would up being their downfall as they were knocked off 19-18 at Tengen Stadium.

The Creamy Pirates (2-1) committed four errors in the game, the final one leading to the winning run for the Nimrods (2-1), who committed three errors of their own. Both teams received several base hits on poor fielding decisions, while there were also several Suppanesque baserunning mistakes throughout the game.

With the score tied at 18-18 in the bottom of the ninth, Tom Brunansky opened the inning with a double. However, he was doubled off of second on Tim Laudner's liner to short, and it appeared that Creamy Pirates closer Steve Bedrosian (0-1) would get out of the inning when Bill Madlock lifted a fly to right field. However, Creamy Pirates right fielder Dale Murphy dropped the third out, allowing pinch hitter John Kruk to a game-winning double past Darryl Strawberry, who appeared to run right past the ball.

The final inning blunders overshadowed the comeback of the Creamy Pirates, who trailed 16-9 at the start of the eighth inning. Strawberry was 6 for 6 with a home run, while Murphy had a home run and five RBI.

Tim Laudner was the hitting star for the Nimrods, as he hit two home runs, including a grand slam, and drove in seven runs. Andre Dawson also hit two home runs while driving in four.

there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.
