OK, the complete video of the All-Star game is up at the Web site at http://fantasyrbi.rbicentral.com/Media/Media.html. It's a Quicktime video and is about 23 MB long, which isn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I'm going to wait to post box scores, etc., from the game, but suffice it to say that it's a real humdinger of a game that has all the drama you would expect from an RBI All-Star Game.

If someone downloads it, let me know how the download looks and if it works.

Finally downloaded QuickTime, playing it works, tough to read names on screen, but it is easy to follow the action so I happy, just watched the first few seconds so far, I'll watch it all later.

Holy cow, crazy game, I thought the MVP award was wrapped up until the end, now I'm not sure who should get it.

I just watched it as well - that was awesome.

I've decided that I'm going to keep posting game results here like I had before - I realize that not everyone has 100 percent access to broadband, and therefore might not be able to download the full games.

By the way, is it easier if I break the games up into segments (a couple of innings each) rather than just post them as one big file?

Game Summary:

The inaugural edition of the Fantasy RBI Baseball League's Midwinter Classic turned out to be exactly that – a classic. The American League All-Stars rallied from nine runs down in the bottom of the ninth to take a thrilling 21-19 victory over the National League in a game played Wednesday at Tengen Stadium. Gary Gaetti earned All-Star Game MVP honors by hitting two home runs, including a two-run walk off shot to end the game.

"You really can't imagine what this means to win this award," said Gaetti upon receiving the All-Star Game MVP trophy. "It means so much to me. I mean, really, it means a lot of money. Thank God for those incentive clauses, baby!"

The National League lost despite a heroic performance by John Tudor, who threw an astonishing 87 pitches in going 8 2/3 innings before giving way to Danny Cox. The decision to leave Tudor in and not turning to a stocked bullpen was made by NL All-Star manager Dusty Baker. Some reporters questioned whether Baker might have been distracted by the fact that he named his son Darren as bullpen coach.

"You know, it's just one of those things that...Darren, don't put that in your mouth...that you pay real close attention to the game, and you think that...son, I said don't put that in your mouth," said Baker. "No, especially not if Darryl Strawberry gave it to you, don't eat it! Give me that...OK, what was I saying?"

Andre Dawson paced the NL hitting attack with a home run and five RBI. Eric Davis drove in four while Jack Clark and Gary Carter each had four hits.
