Game Summary:

John Morris is a Blank no longer. The previously unheralded Morris had a breakout game, hitting for the cycle and driving in five runs to lead the Stiffs to the top of the Fantasy RBI League standings with a convincing 19-6, eight inning victory over the winless Fighting Tony Danzas in a game played Wednesday at Tengen Stadium.

Morris cracked two home runs as part of his 5-for-5 day to help Bobby Ojeda (2-0) become the first two-game winner this season. Ojeda cruised until he ran into trouble in the fifth inning, giving up a three-run homer to Keith Hernandez to let the Fighting Tony Danzas close to 10-6. Danny Cox continued to shine in relief work for the Stiffs, scattering three hits over three shutout innings to pick up his first save.

Roger Clemens (1-1) had decent stuff despite getting tagged for the loss, as he gave up five runs in four innings. For the second consecutive game, Nolan Ryan was ineffective. The loser in the Fighting Tony Danza's season opener was roughed up coming out of the bullpen, giving up 16 hits and 11 earned runs in three innings of work. Brian Downing's grand slam off of Ryan in the seventh inning finished off the scoring, and eventually lead to the 10-run rule being enforced.

And how about Trammell pulling a disappearing act for 2 straight games?  Worthless.

I just stunned that you haven't been able to get some quality innings out of either Clemens or Ryan...and the A-Tram is killing you in the lead-off spot (look at my game today against ShitPaw, and you can see that wilfong did everything he could to kill me, too).
