What do you guys think has been the greatest appearance by an RBI star in a movie or on TV?
My vote goes to Reggie for his attempt to murder Queen Elizabeth in the Naked Gun.  Runner up to Keith Hernandez on Seinfeld and to Clemens/Mattingly/Boggs/Ozzie/Canseco/Straw for their Simpsons episode.  Have any other Tengen League veterens seen action in TV or the movies?
What a horrible night to have a curse.

About four to five years back...when I was big into the WWF (now WWE) and the WCW, Wade Boggs made a few appearances on WCW TV.  I guess he's a pretty big professional wrestling fan.

RBI isn't just a game, it's a lifestyle...

Boggs was also on Cheers.  They stole his pants.

Wasn't Willie McGee in ET?
You're going down, chainsaw.

GDavis

No, that was a puppet.  I can see how you could confuse the two.

In addition to the simpsons, Canseco has also made apperances on The Tony Danza Show and Reading Rainbow

Pete Rose also used to appear on the WWF at Wrestlemania a few times.  He would always get beat up, one time he went out in the San Diego Chicken costume as a disguise.

I'm glad someone remembers Pete's all-star wrestling appearances.  If I recall correctly, he was attacked and given choke-slams or piledrivers on two occasions by Kane, the "Big Red Machine".  I'll have to assume that was purposely done as a lame bit of irony.
In any case, one of my favorite commercials last year was the pay per view commercial for wrestlemania where Pete was opening his door to trick or treaters on halloween.  He was bullying the kids over and over, until Kane showed up to trick or treat at his house.  I don't remember the rest, but oh well.

I think there was a better thread out there, but since the search function is so dumb, this was the one I found.
Moneyball is coming out with Dykstra and Strawberry in their big screen debuts.
