Opposite Field

Me, Smith, and Guzman, felt that our players were starting to get too out in front and pulling the ball too much, so we decide to make the players go the other way for awhile.

We played about 5 games where every ball had to be hit to the opposite field, in not you had to keep running until you got out, and if you hit a pulled HR you had to retire yourself from the inning.

Games were quick, we just played All-Stars, Mcguire hit about 5 homers, Bell hit a couple, and I think Dawson hit one, but mainly singles and doubles the other way, low-scoring, but it was challenging.

sounds exciting pines... did you enhance your gaming pleasures with some keystone light?  

the only game where opposite field power dominates is ken griffey jr baseball for super nintendo...  if you pull a homerun in that game it is rare.

another game where going the other way happens alot is mlb 2000.  Not only are pulled homeruns rare, just pulling the ball is rare.

No Joe it was a dry game, just for shits and giggles. I dont recomend ever trying to go the other way, unless you are trying to do a Vince Coleman.

i would imagine that taking everything to the opposite field would be detrimental to you swing overall.
