The Cunts are picking a bad time to start playing like shit.

It's all because Strawberry is in a funk.  He hit it hard last game, just right at people.

with re-peat's reaction i thought we won.  oh well.

Empire dominate and sweep the Unholy Legions in season finale

SIOUX FALLS (AP) - The Empire out-muscled the number one offensive team in the league as they laid a 21-7 mercy rule victory over the playoff bound Unholy Legions and made a strong statement to the league before the playoffs.

J.Rice, D.Mattingly, and D.Murphy each homered twice, R.Knight homered and went 4-5 with 5 RBI's, and O.Smith hit two triples and a double to lead the Empire offensive explosion.

The win completes a three game sweep over the Unholy Legions of Doom and secures option advantage (home or away) throughout the playoffs since the Galactic Empire ended the season with the best record in the FRBI League.

The Empire will now await and see who they will play next in the DoveRBI League Championship Series. " We accomplished two of our goals so far, winning league and having the best record in the league, but now it's meaningless. It's a new season and our goal is to win one game at a time and ultimately the FRBI World Series. We like our chances", said manager Darkside to a frenzy of reporters.

The Unholy Legions of Doom will face the Fighting Artichokes in the DoveRBI Divisional Playoffs. The Unholy Legions swept the Artichokes in the regular season.

Pabst Blue Ribbons quickly dismantle Cutlers, win third straight to end the season

ARKANSAS (AP) - G.Gagne and DwEvans hit a pair of shots in the first two innings to lead the Blue Ribbons over the Cutlers in a shocking 11-1 mercy rule victory in two quick innings.

This marks the Blue Ribbons third straight victory over a playoff bound team since manager Ryno juggled the line-up in week 20. "This is our playoffs" said Ryno who finishes the season on a high note.

Dw.Evans and G.Gagne both went 2-2 with two home runs and 4 RBI's to lead the Blue Ribbon offense. Alxndr only allowed 1 run on 1 hit against an explosive Cutler offense in his two innings of sharp work.

Despite the loss, the Fighting Cutlers managed to sneak in the playoffs. The OC lost their must win game against the Rebel Alliance. The Cutlers will face the Awesome BadAsses in the Gantry Divisional Playoffs. The Cutlers were 1-2 this year against the BadAsses.

Hrbek delivers walk off shot and devastating blow to the OC, Alliance win 4th straight but miss the playoffs

MADISON (AP) - With the game tied at 14 in the bottom of the ninth, K.Hrbek hit a walk off shot off S.Grelts to give the Alliance a 16-14 victory over the OC at Madison Park.

Hrbeks walk off shot eliminated the OC from entering the playoffs and opened the door for the Fighting Cutlers to get in to the dance.

With the Fighting Artichokes victory over the Sally Cunts, the Rebel Alliance's playoff hopes were eliminated as they needed the Artichokes to lose. The Alliance can hang their heads high since they did their part in a must win situation and won 4 straight to end the season,  but it was not enough to propel them in the playoffs. Their 6 game losing streak before winning 4 straight proved to be a huge blow.

P.Molitor went 5-5, J.Bell hit a pair of shots, and Hrbek drove in three runners to lead the Alliance. The Alliance overcame a 12-5 deficit in the 7th inning and their bullpen (2 ER) simply out-pitched the OC's bullpen (5 ER).

Records - Rebel Alliance (10-12, 5-7), OC of the Central Coast (10-12, 6-6)

McGwire blasts 3 Home Runs and Viola pitches a gem to propel the BadAsses into the playoffs

DEE NEE (AP) - M.McGwire hit 3 towering shots to win the home run title with 28 overall for the year and Viola had his best performance of the year as he went 8 innings and only allowed 2 runs on 10 hits as they led the Awesome BadAsses to a 19-2 mercy rule thrashing over Chocolate Rain in 8 innings.

The win coupled with the Cutler's loss propels the Awesome BadAsses into second place and with option advantage in the Gantry Divisional Playoffs(home or away) since they won the season series (2-1) over the Cutlers.

AlecTrevylan, in his rookie year in the FRBI League, becomes the second independent owner/coach to successfully lead his team into the playoffs in his inaugural year. Darkside of the Empire, led his team to the FRBI World Series in his rookie year as independent manager/owner last season.

McGwire also drove in 6 runners to go along with his 3 HR's and Will 'the Thrill' Clark broke out of a funk by going 5-6 with a home run, a double, and 3 RBI's.

Option advantage...

As much as I normally like being home, I do have to think that away is a bigger advantage in this, because you can get in one more pinch hitter, since the home team usually can't PH in the bottom of the 9th.

So, I'll tentatively say I'll take the Away advantage in the series

Okay, it's done. I was going to address this in the playoff thread which will come tomorrow...or by mail. BeefMaster, home or away?

Fighting Artichokes earn playoff berth

FORTE DODGE (AP) - The Artichokes scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 8th inning to take a 20-17 lead and held on for the win as J.Reardn retired Strwby, Madlck, and Mitchl in order in the top of the 9th inning.

The Artichokes won their must win finale and now will face the Unholy Legions in the DoveRBI Divisional Playoffs.
The Fighting Artichokes were swept by the Unholy Legions of Doom during the regular season.

Down 16-10 in the 7th inning, The Artichokes scored 6 runs off a tired Nando to tie it up at 16. Hrndez allowed only 1 run in relief in the 8th inning to keep his team in good striking distance. In the bottom half of the 8th, DaEvans and T.Brnsky led off with back to back HR's off L.Smith and Hrndn and Oqendo came off the bench to deliver clutch RBI's. From there, Reardn came in to the ninth to slam the door on the Cunts.

The Artichokes outscored the Cunts 10-3 in the final three innings. The Cunts need to use their bye week to figure out how to score more runs at the end of ball games as they had the same problem the week before against the Unholy Legions.

DaEvans went 5-6 with 5 RBI's with a towering solo shot and the Artichokes' got crucial help from the bench as they went 3-3 with a pinch hit home run from Gladden, a RBI double from Hrndn, and a RBI single from Oqendo.

The Sally Cunts finish the season with back-to-back losses, but still have the second best record in the league and have the option advantage when they face the winner of the BadAsses-Cutlers series.

Records - Fighting Artichokes (11-11, 3-9), Sally Cunts (14-8, 8-4)
