hjose fouled this pitch off of a lightpole and it ricocheted into left field.  i think they should have scored it a hit.



i'll post more pictures soon.  this was a golden baseball league game between the long beach armada and the chico outlaws @ long beach (blaire field).

Why does Arby's jersey appear to say Canada?  Is it because he doesn't understand the ways of the stock market or does he just like socialized medicine?

i think they were traditionally spaniards, but i don't know how that fits in with finances of any sort.  there's just a lot of confusion with the lira, dabloons, pieces of eight, all that.

Mrs. Manfreddy and I went to the Armada vs. Chico game tonight.

- hJose was 0-3 with a BB, K and GIDP. Good job, hJose.
- The Armada are terrible and lost 11-0.
- But it was Irish Heritage night, which meant green beer and $3 Black and Tans. Dee-Nee
- However, it did take 2 innings to get a hot dog. Open up more fkn concession stands, Long Beach Armada!

Darrel Evans taught to pull the ball every pitch when he was the roving hitting instructor back in 93 with the Rockies. Crowd the plate to make the outside pitches look like their are down the middle he would tell me. He did have some good drills to turn on the ball, but pulling the ball on every pitch was not my cup of tee. Sweet pics.
