LAist has an interview with RBI Legend Jose Canseco.  I found it through Deadspin (sorry, Buzz Bissinger!), which highlighted this gem:

Last question, what's next for you?
Next thing would be some more reality TV, a reality TV show involving martial arts. I am working with producers to get my movie made, the story of my life. And I am working on a third book which will be fiction.

Fiction, really?
Yeah it's going to be about baseball and cloning. It's a very dark dark sci-fi story.

I absolutely cannot wait to read that book.

Speaking of hJose's books, has anyone read Juiced or Vindicated?  I'm not going to buy either of them, but are they worth checking out from the library at some point?

I've read juiced and actually enjoyed it.
I think his thoughts about how baseball was, as well as how it will be in the future may be very acurate.

You mean the cloning stuff?

In "Juiced"?

Not what I was referring to.

Nacho

But to be clear, you do agree that cloning is the future of baseball, right?

there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.
