I have just completed a new rom with the 2008 MLB rosters.  I used stats from mlb.com as the basis for the players' attributes.

Some key features:
Position players whose names are marked with a dot (.) are speedsters (speed greater than 140).
Pitchers marked with a capital S at the end of their name are sidearmers.
Pitchers marked with a dot (.) are closers (more than 15 saves for the season).
Switch hitters default to left handed.

Note: It's an updated rom originally created by Andy B, who made some major improvements such as including all 30 teams in 6 divisions.  I couldn't figure out how he did it, so hopefully they don't do divisional realignment anytime soon.

I can release an online RBI3 editor if anyone is interested (it's about 90% done), let me know.

Awesome stuff.  Thanks.

Not too many RBI 2 and 3 fans around here, but I think it's a quality game.

Is your RBI 3 editor specific to the NES version, or is it the Genesis version? Or both? I'd be real interested in one! I am a fan of RBI 3, my first RBI game was RBI 3 on the Genesis and I'm looking for the statistics of the teams so I can make a couple of writeups to share.

looks good.  are the years for the teams correct?

I think the editor would be awesome.  I'd like to play with the all-star teams.  The ROM is great--nice ARoid reference.

i wouldn't mind having access to the editor.  why is jim thome listed as an outfielder?
