Mark Davidson delivers pinch hit heroic shot

DEE NEE (AP) - With the Badasses down 15-13 with two runners on in the bottom of the 8th, Davdsn was called on to pinch hit. The third reserve on the bench turned on a Robnsn fastball up in the zone to put the Badasses up 16-15 as the 82,000 spectators went bezzark at Doc Ellis Magic Mushroom Park.

The score would stay that way as Bedrsn came in to earn the save and seal the win for the Awesome Badasses who remain one game behind the Sally Cunts in the Gantry League.

The Unholy Legions of Doom were up 11-5 in the sixth inning, but their pitching failed to hold the lead once again. Schmidt hit his league leading 14th HR in the losing effort.

Two inside the park HR's were hit by the Badasses as the result of the ball ricocheting off the fence two separate times. A first in FRBI play.

The Badass bullpen played an integral role in their victory. The two side-armers, Keffld and Bedrsn allowed a combined two hits and one K and no runs in their impressive work out of the pen.

Records- Awesome Badasses (7-5) (5-2), Unholy Legions of Doom (6-6) (4-3)

Clemens, Bell, Leonard power Alliance past Cutlers

CHICAGO (AP) - Roger Clemens pitched 5 marvelous innings and silenced the top offense in the league. JBell and JLeonard each hit a pair of shots and helped the Rebel Alliance pull away from the Fighting Cutlers 15-10 at Soldier Field.

With the score even at seven after 4 innings of play, the Alliance outscored (8-3) and outhit (15-8) the league's premier hitting attack.

Witt, who was acquired in a trade, made his first start for the Alliance and managed to avoid an onslaught of bombs by the Cutlers who lead the league in HR's. Witt had a decent performance and kept his new team in the game.

The real story was Clemens mastery over the Cutlers. Clemens was down in the zone all day as he got hitters to chase his pitches. Clemens scattered 8 hits and surrendered only 3 runs as he went the distance after the 4th and picked up the win.

JBell now has 14 HR's for the year which ties him up with Schmidt for the league lead at 14.

Records - Rebel Alliance (6-6) (4-4), Fighting Cutlers (6-6) (2-5)

Re-Peat

When the Rocket juices before a game, look out...

I'm happy to see Witt fitting in nicely.  Alexander's cunty butt would have easily given up 5213 homeruns in the first inning, even to the pitcher.

anyone ever notice that if you drop a deuce on someones windshield in sub-freezing temperatures, its pretty damn hard to get off once it freezes.

Doc Gooden's performance exceeds hype

FORT DODGE (AP)- Despite Dr. K's historic drug and alcohol abuse bouts, he continues to maintain his status and feed the hype as arguably the best pitcher in FRBI.
Gooden pitched 4 dominating innings as he allowed only 6 hits and gave up no runs and got the win in the Artichokes 16-6 mercy rule win over Chocolate Rain.

The first four innings was a tight one. Chocolate Rain took a 6-5 lead going into the 5th inning, the inning when a pitching change is usually made for both teams in a tight ball game.

From the first pitch that Gooden threw in his relief appearance, it was apparent that he brought his good stuff. On the other hand Blylvn gave up 5 runs in the 5th which turned out to be more than enough for the Fighting Artichokes as Gooden blanked Chocolate Rain. Chili Davis hit a 3 run blast that dented the scoreboard and seemed to inspire and mount confidence for the last place Artichokes.

Brnsky hit a pair of shots and notched 4 RBI's while CDavis went 5-5 at the plate with a homer, two doubles and 3 RBI's. Lake's 8th inning HR ended the game due to the mercy rule in the 8th. The victory by the Artichokes was their first mercy rule victory this year.

Records- Fighting Artichokes (5-7) (2-6), Chocolate Rain (5-7) (4-5)

OC cruise to victory

ARKANSAS (AP)- Rick Sutcliffe was impressive in pitching a complete game and the OC got a lot of offense to cruise by the Pabst Blue Ribbons 18-10 in a Gantry League contest.

Sutclf gave up only 5 runs through 8 innings. The vet gave up 5 more in the ninth innings as he was clearly laboring, but manager TBG elected to send him out in the ninth to give the other pitchers a rest.

The OC pick up a game on the Fighting Cutlers for the third and final playoff spot.
The Pabst Blue Ribbons' losing streak reaches a FRBI record 5 consecutive games.

Dave Henderson led the OC offense with 4 RBI's, 1 HR, and 3 2B's as he finished the day 4-6 at the plate.

DwEvans hit a pair of shots to give him a share of the lead in HR's with Schmidt and Bell at 14.
