Nightwulf is taking over the editor, mine is really just something I'm doing for myself cause Ilike to have my own copy of the code to tweak as needed.  I'd be glad to share it, but I'm making an effort not to step on Nightwulf's toes...

Ryno and I did an awesome '87 roster file for MVP 2005.  I'd be more than happy to help on '87 for rbi, especially pitchers. Have the Neyer/James book too.

Bonny  --  Do you have your roster set for the 87 Cards?  I would like to recreate some of those players for one of my upcoming season on MVP 05.

Here's the complete 1987 Roster file and schedule. This is just a roster edit does not include  cyberfaces or unis.  Rating wise its pretty good.  If you have MVPEdit you can extract the '87 Cards no problem.
