RPC Game Recap Thread

Played two games tonight vs. a newcomer to the field...1st game I won 9-4:
Brewers vs. Mets

Second I lost cause I couldn't get the ball out of the IF in the lowest scoring game on earth:
Dads vs. Marlins

Ahh yes, feels great to get back into playing again instead of just editing...another gung ho player ready for some hot league action.

Games were fun. I was pretty much on point in game 2. Considering the pace though, I was bracing for 10+ innings.

First was just a warm up, had to get used to the style of play and so forth.

Nonetheless, it was awesome. I haven't had that much fun in a long time.

Yep, once you got setup, it was a breeze. You were easy to work with which made it easier. Lookin forward to more games in the future.

Snapped a 5-game losing streak tonight, and had to do it on a walk-off 11th inning HR.  I had to come back twice, and then drive in the go-ahead run in extras to win the game...I love finishing the night with a win.....

I know I'm pretty much talking to myself in these recap threads, but meh, it's somethin' to do.

Suckballs. After winning 3 of my last 4, I dropped a 2-game series tonight.  I started off hot in both games, only to give up key HR in each game off of tired pitchers.  Wolf is a vag and got tired really early, and pissed away the 3-run pinch-hit bomb that Craig Counsell hit to right field for me.

First game of original ROM style since the MKE dee-nee fest.  It was fun to play the original ROM again...had some nice hits and good pitching.

Got bastardo setup tonight. Up 3-0 and started hemorhaging runs, losing 8-3. You're never out of a game vs me, as I have an uncanny ability to field poorly.
