Recaps will come today...for sure.

Game 1 of the FRBI VI WS has been pushed back to Monday. Too much going on today.

Liar like most Mexicans imo

Recaps have to come today. The WS will start tomorrow and will run everyday until Wednesday if it goes that far. I leave for Italy next Thursday, so now there is no choice since I'll be gone for 3 weeks.  So I'll get on it after the world cup game. The players needed a rest for the WS. And so did I after scoring over 120 games the past 3 months.

Banana Hammocks shock the FRBI world

Milwaukee (AP) - Up 8-3 in the bottom of the sixth, the Galactic Empire looked like they were cruising to their third straight FRBI WS appearance. However, an 8-run rally by the Hammocks changed the course of history as they grabbed momentum and put the game away in the bottom of the 8th inning with a 4-run two out rally and held on to win 15-10.

Turd's first year in the circuit has resulted in a WS birth! The Hammocks got into the playoffs on the last week of the season when everything went their way, and they went through two juggernauts while being down 3-1 in the series in both the divisional and LCS playoffs. Nobody gave them a chance to the heavily favored Galactic Empire. The Galactic Empire has had the best record in the league over the last two seasons, were the two-time defending Dove RBI League Champions, and are the defending champions. But the Hammocks didn't care and never gave up when they were down to the mighty Empire.
Perhaps the turning point in the series is when they beat the Empire at home in game 5 which was the Empire's second only defeat at home, but the loss devastated the Empire.

So with the score 11-10 in the bottom of the eight inning, the Hammocks scored 4 runs with two outs. From there, Dayley pitched a perfect 9th to put away the Empire and the capacity crowd at Quinlan Park went bonkers and rushed the field.

"The Force wasn't with us and we just did not play Empire ball", said a disappointed Darkside.

J.Tudor was named the MVP for the Dove RBI LCS. Tudor shut down the Empire all series and was the difference.

J.Rice delivers GWH in the 9th, OC Legions of Doom to make their third WS appearance

Sioux Falls (AP) - In a tight back and forth game 7 of the Gantry LCS, J.Rice singled to RF to score Grelts for the winning run as the OC won it 15-14 in dramatic fashion.

Down 14-11 in the top of the 9th, the Fighting Ulrachers showed just why they climbed out of a 3-1 series deficit. Guerro hit a two-run shot to put the Ulrachers within one run, and the next batter, W.Clark, hit a solo shot to tie up the dramatic contest. The next batter, D.Evans, doubled which was followed up by a Mldndo single to put runners at the corners with 1 out. Then something strange happened. Whtkr hit  a deep fly ball to RF, and it looked like a sure sacrifice fly. However, D.Evans inexplicably did not tag up to score. The crowd let out a huge sigh of relief then held their breath when slugger Laudnr stepped up with two outs. Worrel got him to line out to end the inning.

With the score tied up at 14 in the bottom of the 9th inning, Worrel led off with an infield single. Brookn then laced a double down the LF line and just like that with no outs, there were runners on second and third with the dangerous J.Rice coming up.
The crowd at Sioux Falls Stadium was on their feet and chanting for their hero to come through. J.Rice did just that as he hit a walk off single to RF and the players from the OC bench rushed home plate to mob Grelts.

Owners BeefMaster and TBG will be making their combined 5 WS appearance. BeefMaster reached two WS finals with the Legions of Doom, and lost both of them---one of them to the OC. TBG is making his 3rd appearance and won back-to-back titles in seasons II-III.

So it will be America's team going up against the cinderella Banana Hammocks. The OC Legions of Doom swept the two games against the Hammocks this season and will be heavy favorites. This will mark the first time ever that a team will enter the WS with a losing record. The Banana Hammocks are 17-19 overall.

J.Rice was named the Gantry LCS MVP for his incredible production during the 7 games and of course for hitting the game winning hit.
