I saw stats pages in different posts... are these stats tabulated with a program that does it automaticly, or do you guys enter each at bat manually?... if it's automatic, what do you use and where can I get it?
there are good games and not so good games... but never a bad game!

Nothing is automatic, we just use outside scoring programs to make it easier, but nothing ties directly to the NES game

I use some program I wrote for myself, I could post it here but I'm not so sure it would work well for other's purposes, USC uses some donwloaded software for general baseball game scoring which would probably better suit your needs.

Hi Guys, I recently found a sheet of statistics made by me, by hand that dates back to distant 1994. The sheet I added to the statistics of games that had some years. I leave here a download link. It is an Excel spreadsheet. Macros must be enabled to see the data correctly
(has complex functions). Sorry for my English
This is the download link. Hope enjoy it  ;)

I was about to download it, then saw it was for RBI 2, then realized I didn't care about that game :)

Axl

Well, the excel work with the other rbi to. Only must to change the players name ;-) I played RBI 2, long time ago, for a long time. And still play sporadically. Play RBI 1 and 3 but 2 is my favorite. :)

Turd

Coolness...so when you played games did you just keep score by hand on a scoresheet, or what? What was your method?

Yes Turd  :) It's all by hand. I started in 1993 in a paper and still do manually in Excel sheet. You can see the formulas by pressing Alt + F11.

The most important for a Pitcher (I guess) is the MVP. And for the batter is POS. Is the combination between MVP and the result. The BAT is the combination of AVG and HR.
The MVP is higher if the batter get more RBI and Runs in less at bat.
The POS shows the set of all MVP, HR, 3B, SO, ext...
And the BAT show the batter capacity. Don't depend of the team results as RBI o Runs.

I have the Excel update with new results and formulas slightly edited for better analysis. If you want. ;)

I mean, I knew it was by hand, but I didn't know if you handwrote and then transferred it to excel or put it in excel as you played.  What are all the colored squares used for?

Axl

In the 1993 and 94 games, I wrote by hand in a paper, with my friend. Now I just keep Excel opened. The colored squares is for identificate the game of pitchers. Same game same color. But in the new excel I just brake down and delimit it like in batters.  :)

Axl

OK. Here is the update, with some games more and little edit of formulas. Here there go!
