I finally got Joe(Gwynn3k) to play a little RBI.

I rolled Houston he was the mets, both pretty weak teams, it was a battle, Terry Puhl led off with a jack and Keith Hernandez hit one a couple innings later.

It was locked 1-1 for 14 innings until Joe won it in the bottom of the 15th with a single to right by Drugs, there was a play at the plate but he scored.

Gooden finally came out in the 12th with 2 outs. Amazing!

i am playing ryan express tonight in a best of 5 world series matchup (angels/ giants)

Actually I was Houston, he was NY.

Gooden was still throwing decent in the 12th, and you know Houston has no power at all, just bround balls to second and short, their pitching will keep you in it, but scoring is a major challenge.

yes gooden was throwing against impotence but the fact that he was still bringing it in the 10th inning was quite a feat... he had the same electric stuff as he did when he was one out away from a perfecto against those angels.

Houston is the worst team in R.B.I.  But I disagree with you calling the Mets a "weak team."  You have to give them more credit than that.  They have some power with Hernandez, Carter, Strawberry, Knight, and then the two off the bench (Teufel & Johnson).  And their pitching is good, too bad Ojeda doesn't last longer though...

NY is not that bad, but I rank them 7th out of the 10 teams. I like their pitching, Drugs and the Perm are solid, but if they are pitched around the others are pretty much outs and scoring is tough.

Cali is just a shade higher than NYcause their pitching blows

i disagree... the mets are crap.  the only team they rank over is the impotent stros.  

st louis is weak but they are scrappy and they have tudor... who is filthy.

my personal best game was a 26 inning, 2 to 1 loss to my roommate, the infamous "Dr. Nacho".  Whenever we play, he is StL, I am Houston.  My personal team I use most often is Boston, but he loves the Cardinals, and I love teams that suck (in all sports), so I go with Houston.  Nolan lasted a good dozen innings.  The only reason I ever gave up that second run was on account of Dave "The Mullett" Smith.
