DamnTheCowboys

as sung by Roger McDowell & the Shea City Rollers to the tune of Rick Springfield's "Jessie's Girl"

Jesse is a teammate
You know he's been a good teammate of mine
But lately something's happened
Six saves I have blown
Jesse's got himself a curve
and I want one of my own

And I'm sitting there watching it slide
And he's using some sandpaper I just know it
He even struck out Alan Trammell last night

You know I wish that I had Jesse's curve!
I wish that I had Jesse's curve!
How can I throw a sidearm like that!?

Then in Game Seven of
The World Series he got the last out and all the love
I feel so jealous when I see the replay
I gotta learn how to do that awesome glove toss some day!

And I turn on ESPN
They show him launching that mitt up in the air
If I could only throw mine up to the stars like him...

Plus I wish that I had Jesse's curve!
I wish that I had Jesse's curve!
How can I throw a......How can I throw a sidearm like that?!

And I'm looking at videotape all the time
Wondering how Kerfield and Bedrock got it right
I've been asking Saberhagen for advice:
"Ain't that the way it's susposed to bite?"

(guitar solo)

Tell ME!  How can I throw a curveball like that??!!

You know I wish that I had Jesse's curve!
I wish that I had Jesse's curve!
I want Jesse's curve!
How can I throw a sidearm like that-
like Jesse's curve!
I wish that I had Jesse's curve
I want, I want Jesse's curve!!

DTC, and all the newbies, don't let the name of "MR RBI" fool you, he has no respect among the forums, he tries to pretend that he's well liked around newbies, but believe me, he's not.

TempoGL

DTC is not a newbie.  he just doesn't post 105329075320950345 times a day.

I think he knows this already jerk. I never pretended that i'm respected  around here by the way. I think they can read for themselves that i'm not. I do care if i'm respected by others. I fucked up bad when i started. Get over it bud. Let others decide for themselves if they respect me. Plus i like DTC post. You say i can't say that to him now. He has quality post and i would like to have quality post also.

Baines may have hit a homer with Baines, yelled Baines and immediately changed into a Baines jersey.

You know who's the best? Baines...

DamnTheCowboys

MR RBI is a decent dude in my book.    I'd play a seven game series with him while splitting a case of Heineken anyday of the week.

Yes, but is 1/10th of a post a day too much to ask for?

I'm kinda bummed that this otherwise hilarious post was immediately converted to yet another MR RBI bashing.

Don't worry I think you'll still be getting plenty of bashing on anything goes, I believe you may have hit a nerve with some, and you may have trouble crossing back into good graces, hopefully over time people will forget your bad week.
