2 SP goes against everything I believe in as a man, and as an American.  I just can't do it.

You need to practice Rook. You are hereby deemed by the Empire as a minor league RBI player.

he needs to revel in the even balance of both.

1SP in the best of 3 series is as good as it gets.  However the cotut formula of different teams each game and 2 SP is a phenominal set up.  its really a challenge to out duel your opponent.

You can still use "the cotut formula" with 1 sp games, right?

The Raiders are a successful organization

It doesn't make sense to me to allow 2 SP's.  #1, it takes the strategy out, and #2, it makes it even less realistic than MLB.

What strategy does it take out? I can understand the strategy behind 1sp play, but 2 SP's gives you more arms at your disposal and has it's own sophisticated strategy.

1SP takes the high level pitching away from your staff. It changes the whole dynamics of the game. It is hard enough with 2sp, but playing 1SP tips the advantage on the hitters side. A top heavy advantage if you will. A good hitting team and Jedi should be able to get the firework show going continuously in the later innings as well as throughout the game as the sp might leave a little too much out over the plate.

Nevertheless, a true Jedi can master and display phenomenal wizardry at both crafts.

all it really does in the grand scheme of things is makes SF harder to beat.  It also keeps teams from having to trot out thier crappiest reliever.

Right...because having 4 pitchers available in a game is less realistic than having 3 pitchers available in a game...

With 2 SP's you can strike out about 23 guys.  With 1 SP, you have to pitch to ceain guys, and there is strategy because each pitch is precious.

6,2,1 is my winning formula (starter goes 6 etc.).  What do you do with 2 SP... 4,3,1,1... That's real tough

TbT

Stop playing GDavis. I hear he is a free swinger.

I would pay a 1000 dollars if you were to strike me out 10 times in 2SP. WTF, you guys in York can't see or what.

Both styles carry it's own strategy. You like 1SP and I like 2SP. I just feel that 2SP is more realistic in using the full capacity of your pitchers stuff. I have played high scoring games, low scoring games and whatever with 2SP. With 1SP, there is just too much hitting. I hate to give in to anyone.

To be honest, 1SP suits people who can't hit very well because of hand-eye or just plain bad eye sight.

ha I cannot wait until you get to know more about TBT.

I would love to meet you all, but unless there's some national 1 SP tourney, then I doubt I'll get the privilege.
