NorCal (AP) - It seems the 2K Stars, much like Japan did,  had underestimated our fighting spirit said Ted Williams.

Led by General Dwight Eisenhower, the 40's Stars shocked the Tengen spectators and media by pulling off a major upset in route to a 14-3 thrashing over the highly arrogant 2K Stars.

Ted Williams and Johnny Mize collected three hits a piece to spearhead a Normandy like invasion at AT&T Park. The 40's Stars struck fast and furious and ended the battle in three innings by a score of 14-3. "The 1940's was not the happiest decade. It was actually full of killing and blood. We survived the depression, the Jap's and Nazi's. So those arrogant 2K Stars with all their high tech gadgets and arrogance were actually a walk in the park compared to what we experienced" stated General Dwight Eisenhower.

The 2K Stars suffered their first loss in the tourney. No comments were made available by team manager Greg "Balco" Anderson.
