I don't have the time/dedication to be commissioner, but I can probably help out occasionally with simulations, recaps, etc., if y'all would like me to.

I can't do stats again, new regime at work has killed that possiblity.  But I'm in to play.  I'm against keepers unless we start from scratch and decide it will be X # of keepers going forward.

not sure what to make of a 20 team league, but the keepers seem intriguing.  A long time ago i had an idea to create a fantasy league and each player had a randomly designated amount of years he could be signed for.  Player A-4 years/Player B-3 years/Player C-2 years...etc etc.  all random.  Lets add some serious strategy to this draft/league.

That's a pretty decent top 50 list.
I put this little file together a couple of years ago.
It ranks all RBI batters based on some of your inputs.
The file starts with Power as a baseline.
Directions:
1.  Rank cells R12 - R14 on a scale from 0 to 10 on how important you feel Contact, Speed, and Hand is.
2.  Click the "Paste" button.
3.  Click the "Sort" button.

You will have an ordered list of all batters on the original RBI ROM.

nice list.  id like to see this list further contorted to rate them on other factors.  Strawbery ranks high, but on NY you can get away with walking him frequently.  he can be nullified a decent amount of the time that way, and more often than not it wont come back to bite you in the ass.

Same with chili davis...walk that fucker when possible.  Or does that make them more valuable.  Jack clark sees hittable pitches about 2 out of 10 at bats when i play.

This is an outstanding idea!!
I could use my attached file as a baseline for rankings, but then weight X% to the batters that bat immediately after them (an maybe even (X-c)% to two batters after).
I should also have some sort of a bonus for pinch hitters (ie.. maybe assuming that 20-25% of their ABs getting the pinch hit bonus).
This could be fun, but an up to the challenge!!
