Good pick by the Sally Cunts there...Viola was the gem dangling out there.

Also great pick up by the Poopydicks with Bedrock...top tier for RP's---3 are in that tier.

And I'm glad the number one ranked RP according to my charts---fell right in my hands as planned.

i just got into work after being at the dmv all morning.  i'll pick in a second, i need to catch up my board real fast.  unless beef picks it before me, which is fine.  we talked this morning.

i have to get busy here at work, so our next pick will be Mike Witt, SP after turd takes his next two guys.  Nacho did the same, so hope that works for everybody.

So long as the person in front of you can't take that position any more I don't think it's a problem.

Darky

Phew...glad Nolan Ryan will be a Fighting Artichoke hahahaha. Well enjoy this over in the Dove RBI division since there are 3 division games and 2 non-division games. A 3-peat as Dove RBI champion is looking good for the Empire.

Fixed. My bad. Thanks for the heads up.

He wrote that because he was "relieved" that my team (which drafted Viola) is not in his division.  My team is so in Darky's head right now...

Of course, we get right around to TBT about 2 minutes before I have to go. Gave Darky my picks for when TBT inevitably chooses the moment after I leave my computer

So Darky, does K/9 factor heavily into your stats? Trying to figure out the Righti pick

Darky

I had to go with Righetti there. South San Jose product and we both played baseball at San Jose City College. He is a good friend to Mark Leonard (former Giants pinch hitter/friend of mine) and he is a great guy. He was at Mark Leonard's bachelor party and threw bp once in a while when I played there. So I've met the dude a few times.

Also, his numbers are superb over the last two seasons. We're expecting big things out of him this year! NorCal WHAT!!!!

It does factor in my formula for ranking the pitchers, but the K/IP has the lowest value when I crunch the numbers together from three other categories.

I had Righetti in the middle of the pack (top of lower half) in my rankings, but it all changes  over the last two years. I still think gaging the RP's is not entirely clear except for maybe 2-3 pitchers. There is not enough data I think, plus FRBI season II did not feature all the players because there were less teams (8 teams) in FRBI II. So in that year, the league was much leaner offensively and more of a hitters league as opposed to having 10 teams.

Ultimate did mention that Fridays were tough for him, so I'm not expecting his pick to come any time soon. I do have Ryno's proxies.

And that's kind of funny that the Rebel Alliance has the same exactly pitching staff as I did last year. Calvin Schirialdi was the MVP for the FRBI WS last season. RePeat has the best SP pitching staff in the league without any doubt. Hard to say how Shrldi and Orsco will do this year.

Re-Peat

Had to pick based on who did well, and your pitching staff killed it last season.  Since that's the only season I've seen I had to go with what I know.

anyone ever notice that if you drop a deuce on someones windshield in sub-freezing temperatures, its pretty damn hard to get off once it freezes.

You took my Barret :'(

Nah, I was going to take him earlier, but Doran was too good to pass up---for what was left at the time. Barret will get you some big hits if he starts.

Should be an interesting and fun season.
