Super Mega Baseball for PS3 and PS4

It's gotten great reviews. These guys hit a home run. No pun intended.

That's for all the reviews. I'm buying this one this weekend. Mostly to have a new game to play but also because I'm pissed rbi15 won't be on the PS3. So pissed at that.

Also if you have an Xbox One or want to play it on a PC via Steam SMB "extra innings" will be available this summer. Apparently the "extra innings" PS3/PS4 version will be available to current owners via free update/DLC later.

I downloaded it last month but haven't had a chance to check it out. God that's pathetic. I'll try to fire it up next week!!! That's for the FYI on the update.

The only thing I don't like about this game is the pitching mechanic.  It's REALLY hard to get that cursor right.  I wish they had metered pitching or basic pitching, or even a practice mode so you could practice throwing pitches.  I think that makes an otherwise great game less accessible for kids (my 8 year old would play it if it had a simpler mechanic).

I've played it a lot since my last post on the 22nd. Started a season, messed with the leveling up, practiced pitching.

God, this game is fkn awesome. Once you're able to edit team names and colors it'll be complete.

Yeah, shareplay works, but I don't think between consoles (I have PS4). 

I've been playing a lot and absolutely I love it better than the new RBI...it has a better feel to it, and if they soon allow you to fully edit the teams, it'll be perfect.

Another new classic baseball option coming for PS4 - Bases Loaded is being released, in the original graphical style.  We can only hope that PASTE will make his glorious return, kick a pitcher in the nuts, and get ejected.
