Super Mega Baseball 2 coming in 2017

One of my favorite baseball games is getting a sequel...finally! If you haven't played the original it's really fun. It looks like in the sequel they listened to the fans and added on some cool options to make this game pretty damn close to perfect.

"We're excited to tell you that Super Mega Baseball 2 is on its way to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Steam in 2017.
Let's not waste our time with chatter and get right to the first details:
- SLICKER GRAPHICS. Brand new, more realistically scaled character models, new and updated stadiums, modernized UI.
- DEEPER CUSTOMIZATION. Team names, logos and uniforms. Players, their gear and their skills. Custom leagues and sandbox seasons.
- ONLINE MULTIPLAYER. Co-operative or head-to-head. 'Nuff said.

Beat me to it.  This update looks freaking phenomenal.  This game is one of my favorites for sure, and the second iteration looks to improve in every aspect.  I didn't even buy MLBTS last year because of this game...

The original went free on Xbox Live Games with Gold this month - I just got back from vacation over the weekend and am hoping to try it out on my lunch break today.  Your recommendations have made me very excited to try it out.

This game is only a few months away and I'm really looking forward to it. Below is a glimpse of the customization coming to SMB 2. Also I noticed The Show '17 added a "retro" mode to their game (). I'm sure it's because SMB and the new RBI baseball are taking their customers.

I used to buy the Show every year but I found myself playing the shit out of it for a week and then having it collect dust.

Never really disappointed in it but just couldn't get momentum going on the last few versions.

all i care about is playing other fools online & the show delivers. i started with 2015, and its only gotten vetter and more in depth imo

bonny runs an online franchise with custom rosters and fantasy drafts, and it's the fuckin best. thats all ive ever wanted in a baseball game
