Nacho and Tempo constantly cunting at each other is underrated shtick.  Sometimes I wonder whether they actually hate each other IRL.

I should retroactively make Wilfong a third baseman again.  But seriously, THIS DRAFT TOOK MORE THAN THIRTY SECONDS TO COMPLETE...HOW ARE WE EVEN ALIVE AT THIS POINT?  I THOUGHT WE WOULD DIE OF BOREDOM  8)

there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.

Davey Lopes

Damn you, Beefmaster, and your strategy of taking a PH before a pitcher!  Lopes was going to be a starter on my team...he's pissed at you for sure and will be tanking.

OF Lenny Dykstra

FYI, I was thinking about Lindeman this morning while walking my dog, and it occurred to me that I put him as a 1B because when I was a kid, that's what all of the baseball cards I had of him said he played (including his 1988 Donruss card).  I think it's tough to get information entrenched in your head 30 years ago out.  Same with Madlock, I knew as a kid that he had been a 3rd baseman, and he was a 1B mostly at the end as part of the "old guy doesn't have the range anymore" thing that happens to a lot of players.  So I made the list with a few assumptions in mind.  I hope the world can forgive me.

i selected Madlock last season with the intention of playing him at third until i saw he was a 1b. i always thought itd be nice to see him eligible at third, especially since he isn't a starter. but seeing how many games he played at third in 87, makes sense why we haven't seen it before

Darrell Evans played more career games at 3B than 1B

This is true, but the difference is that Evans was still in the majors when I started paying attention to baseball, so I thought of him as the position he played at that time.  I got a 1987 Topps Bill Madlock card in one of those plastic cubes of random older cards that they used to sell at K-Mart.  My habit was to ask my dad about players I wasn't familiar with, and it's quite likely he told me that he was a third baseman.

I'm just saying there's a method to my madness (except Wilfong, that was just a mistake)

i own this card. did he move back to 3b after a failed experiment at first?

He taught to pull everything as I've said before when he was my hitting instructor in my first year in the Rockies farm system. (selections coming shortly)
