nomaaa

can't argue with getting your first druthers at the arms

assuming we're done for the night, ultimate7 will be on the clock when we resume tomorrow

Congrats Nomaaa.  Dee-Nee's new Sandwich King.

It can definitley bite me.  I dont see any big d9differences in the remaining ss 2b and 3b.  There are pitchers i really like but we all know pitching may not be worth shit in this league

Darky

I was going to take a pitcher, then I thought fuck no. I wanted Chili pretty bad and I feared that a few people would start going to their benches for power. I think I got burned a couple of drafts ago when I waited too long for a player or two, then they were gone 'like that' when everybody decided to forgo their last position and opt for the bench. There was some good pop left for the OFs, but holy fuck are they slow as shit which means tons of outs on the bases.

I was definitely picking Chili there if you weren't.

At some point do we want to double up on draft picks to get this thing done faster?

there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.

nomaaa

i dont really want to either.

it would be nice if we could all agree on a time to all be online and get a few rounds done at like 90 seconds/pick

The Raiders are a successful organization

ryno

If we dont speed things up nommaaa wont have time to sim the games 😂

Surely in a round or 2 we can shorten the draft window and enforce the time limits.  Lots of similar players in the bottom half

Shooty

I assume Stu is skipped now, so I'm going to pick.

shooty has taken my top pick the last 3 times on the way back

bucky was probably the most obvious, tho none were likely to make it to me

Anybody who missed out on a good SS, Ripken is available for a solid upgrade at 1B or OF.  I can include Dimaggio or Hrbek on the way back.

Nacho

I had settled on taking Bucky before deciding to go with a top reliever with good stamina (for a reliever).

These super lineups should result in some big scores.

Of my 8 hitters, the AVERAGE profile is: 23 CNT, 895 PWR, 127 SPD.

Many games in the high 20s, but the low teen games will happen when the pitchers are on from what I've seen in sim games with stacked teams.

In my experience, the team with the best scouting reports and approach to the game wins. Sometimes guys stay out late the night before the game, have too much to drink, and lose focus. You just can't let that happen and win games in FRBI.
