I have a Tim Raines autograph somewhere.  We need a thread for RBIer autographs -- nothing you bought, but something you saw them sign.

Could just add the pics to this thread.

I think I'm going to try to contact RBIers and a) let them know about the site, b) try to get an autograph, and c) ask them for their RBI memories...

there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.

QuoteI bet you could go to a game and get an autograph on something RBI for the site...would also be interesting to talk to him and see if he remembers RBI and whatnot.

No way I'm going to ask anyone for their autograph.  It isn't in me, but someone else definitely should...

RM is about 10 minutes from my house...

How about a picture with him?  That would rule--and we (by "we," I mean "you," of course) could start a link on the main page entitled, "Forum members and RBIers" or something)...

Baines

I have a few RBI autographs, my best being a ball of the 88 Astros containing most everybody from the team on the game.  My aunt got it for me because she used to date Larry Andersen back in the day.

My goal though is to get some RBI'ers to autograph the actual game cartridge.  But unfortunately it's not everyday I run into an RBI'er.

Baines may have hit a homer with Baines, yelled Baines and immediately changed into a Baines jersey.

You know who's the best? Baines...

I just got home, and I found a ball signed by HoJo and Mookie.  It's fading pretty bad, but I'll try to post it some time next week anyway.

I've never known anyone who dated a major leaguer before.  She have any good stories?

I've been looking for, but cannot find:

1)  Kevin Mitchell Bare-Handed Catch
2)  Andre Dawson with a bunch of kids

I was watching the mitchell catch game on TV when it happened.  I am 100% certain that it happen in 1989 against the Cards in ST. Louis.  I am fairly certain that it was in july of that year during a day game.  I am also 100% sure that the hitter was Ozzie Smith.  Thus, I think this might be the box score from that game but I am not 100% sure:
