Baines-You are an institution of Dee-Nee.  You dont live far away.  Get your crew back together every couple weeks and start training. 

I actually have given it some thought after playing so well in ATG at the last couple get togethers despite having zero experience.  The only thing is that I have basically no way to get any practice.  So even though I've been pleasantly surprised with my first attempts at ATG, I still don't feel like my game is at the level to justify putting up the money to join.

Regardless, I'm still 100% in for the weekend and whatever side games/beer drinking/golf/hell raising in general comes along with it.

A lot of thought is going into this. There's a new version of that emulator, and the UI has been completely redone. In the new one you can pick games from their title screens, or box art, or all kinds of things. It's neat, but lacks the simplicity of the old one.

Also, there are a shitload of NES ROMs out there. Do I include all the Japanese and European games? If I only include US releases, do I pull out betas and alternate versions? It's mind-boggling.

i am excited.  in the end as long as i have a disc with a shit ton of old nes games, i will be giddy.  and women will bow at my altar.
