Ok...I don't know if this has been brought up before.  But, is there anyway Nightwulf or someone can make it so you can edit RBI 2 or 3?  I know the games kinda blow, BUT...they both tell you how far your homeruns went.  I've been playing the Heaven and Hell ROM and I would really like to know how far some of those fucking "moonshots" are going.  It would be hilarious.  I wonder if any of them go over a mile.  The little measurement thing probably only goes to 999ft, anyway.  I think it would still be fun to fucking destroy an 800ft blast off of someone, and having it actually say "800ft."

I have no intention of touching RBI2. I've kicked around the idea of RBI3, since it seems to have a small following here, but it's not gonna happen soon. After seeing how the team select screen works from when I brought the 85 Cardinals back into the game, I'm really not interested in dealing with that mess from an editor's perspective.

If you're just interested in seeing homerun distances, play FS88. I've though about working with that ROM too, but redrawing all the Japanese characters and rewriting all the text strings in the game is something else I'm not interested in dealing with.

Well, frick.  I supposedly have every nintendo ROM ever.  But "FS88" isn't in there.  Know how I can get it?

"FS" is "Family Stadium" - on ROM sites, it's usually listed as "Pro Yakyuu - Family Stadium".  You can find Family Stadium 88 here.

If that link doesn't work for some reason, go to planetemu.net, and it's under "P" in the NES ROMs section.

Someone do the work for me and I'll put all the Family Stadium ROMs on the site.  Give me a link, think it was posted before as well by nightwulf...

THat's french for "you're a raving homo"

It's been years since I had french class, so I could be a bit off.  It may actually say "you're an RBI cheater."

It's definitely one of the two.

That means that you're supposed to own the original cartridge before you download, I think (it's standard on most ROM sites).  Click the "Telecharger" button to download.  You have to wait 5 minutes between downloads.

Aside from the roms indicated by Nightwulf there are other six roms called "Famista 'XX" where XX is the year from 89 to 94. The games have a lot of features like league creation and so on. "Famista" stands for FAMIly STAdium. They have the same music, and updated graphics. Unfortunately all of them are in japanese.

I'm currently working on a translation, and possible editor, for the 88 edition.

Cheers.
