In a shocking upset, Jeffrey Leonard was named the Fantasy RBI League MVP, defeating heavy favorite George Bell by a single vote in the closest MVP race in Fantasy RBI League history. Leonard won despite receiving only three first-place votes out of seven total compared to Bell's four. However, Leonard was voted second on the other four ballots, while Bell received two second-place votes but was left off of one voter's ballot completely.

"Man, this is complete bullshit," said an enraged Bell after the game. "If it wasn't for the fact that I'm busy tanking the World Series, I'd be really upset by this."

Leonard led the league in hitting with a .667 average tied for the league lead with 36 RBI. In addition, his 13 HR were second in the league to Bell's 16, and he and almost single-handedly carried The South Arkansas Penis to within one game of a playoff berth.

Meanwhile, Bell led the league in home runs and slugging percentage, and was second in average (.655) and third in RBI (34) while leading The Poopydicks to a spot in the Fantasy RBI World Series.

The Cy Young race was much less close, as Roger Clemens was the runaway choice, receiving 24 points to easily outsdistance runner-up Bruce Hurst. The Frank Tanana All-Stars hurled received three first-place votes and three second-place votes, based on an outstanding season that saw him go 3-0 with a 12.22 ERA and six strikeouts.

All votes are anonymous. However, if the person who left Bell off of his ballot wants to defend himself, the floor is open.
