We're playing RBI right now.  We're talking about the site.  My brother Craig, not part of dee nee, swears that the phrase "dee nee" must have come from the music.  Dee nee nee nee, dee nee nee nee nee, dee nee nee nee nee nee, nee nee.  Is it true?  I just wanna make sure.  I just wasn't intelligent enough to figure it out in the beginning, I guess.

Is anyone else as stupid as me?  1000+ posts and I don't even know what dee nee means!  I feel suicidal.

I just wiped my ass then smelled the toilet paper.  What's wrong with me?

there is an audio wave of "dee nee"--after reading thru this site it seems that that term was originated as a noise that should appropriately be used when someone uses a pinch-hitter in a game against a  human opponent.

the sound is more like "duh-na" I think.

shit, I'll let one of the site guys respond to this instead.

I'm pretty sure you can find this in the glossary but fuck fucking mclane you never read the glossary like i told you.  dee-nee is the sound made when subbing in a pinch hitter.  coined i believe by potsie or lips.  i am too lazy and have a crappy connection so don't want to go look now.  also it is pronounced more like "dih-nih".

I have read the glossary but we were arguing last night if dee nee came from or was inspired by the music.  I held that it was just something that Potsie muttered one night.  I'm 90% sure of this.  In my drunken state I was easily persuaded by my brother that it had to be from the music.  He does make some sense but I'm sure its incorrect.

Music has no baring what-so-ever on the origin of Dee-Nee.  Potsie made some stupid sound and the legend of Dee-Nee began...

Now DAH-NAH is a much more entertaining story since I made it up.  DEE-NEE!

it maybe before the time of some of you hos but i'm proud to be a member of the DAH-NAH squad.  also if you listen to the bass line of the RBI music you will either lose your mind or get real horny.
