I saw a page on your site giving some love to Terry Puhl, former Astro. I wikied him but haven't seen much of a recent update.

But I know where he is and what he's up to.

My old school, the University of Houston in Victoria, TX (about 90 miles from Houston) just this year started their athletic program with a softball team and a baseball team.

The Jaguar's first baseball manager was former Astro manager Phil Garner. However, he ended up leaving either before the season started or very early in the season (way to commit, no-commit). Who did he call to take over? Terry Puhl.

As far as I know, Puhl is going to be there next year, as well. For a first-year team, they did pretty well.

Anyway, just in case any of you Puhl lovers wanted to know where he was...there ya go.

Is this the David Klingler University of Houston or another school?

That's for the update, Texas is so far from Canada...

Klingler went to UH in Houston, UH-Victoria is a satellite campus that just started sports this year. There's also UH-Sugar Land and UH-Cinco Ranch. UHV has no distinguished alumni...none. It's more of a commuter school, has no dorms.

Side note: I know Klingler gets a bum wrap because of his pro career, but he was an amazing athlete in high school. I think he still has the district long jump record. He went to the same high school as Craig James (Houston Stratford...a well-to-do school on the outskirts of Houston).

Gotcha...  You are right about the alumni, even the wikipedia page didn't have a section for that.  First time I've seen that.  I'm googling now, there has to be SOMEONE

PS Rhinosaur - while I loved King of Kong, I found some info on it that led me to seriously question its accuracy.  See my posts here on the movie review thread.  Still worth watching, but don't take too much as fact...

Big welcome to Rhinosaur - always nice to have new folks on the RBI board.

Gantry, did you ever work anything out for allowing other folks to update the main site?  We could help out with WATN stuff like this.

The way this thread shows on the front page just made me realize that there are 2 Terry P.'s in NES RBI.  That's 1.25% of the players.

This was tentatively planned for dee-nee 2.0 - of course if I got the wiki back this would be perfect...
