RBI legends Tim Teufel and Wally Backman have been given minor league managerial jobs by the Mets - Teufel is managing the Binghamton Mets (AA), and Backman is managing the Brooklyn Cyclones (A).

So backman goes from a big league job (sorta) to single-A?  Ouch...
