Someone posted updated rosters for a game called "Hardball 5" in the tecmo forums.  I downloaded a demo of this game (circa 1995) and gave it a whirl.  Lots of fun, really in depth stat tracking...liked it so much, purchased a copy for $10 off of Amazon.  Lookin' forward to playing with the game and using this dude's rosters.

Anyone else ever play this? I don't ever remember it from back in the day, but there are a few hardcore fans out there, and all the reviews from back then are great...

I played quite a bit of Hardball 3, but I don't know that I played 5.

It's got better graphics than 3, and the batter view is larger. Everyone seems to claim 5 was the best, including 6 in the mix.

I can't compare, but it sure is fun. I want to see what this guys edit looks like.

Good game. Tons of stats and pretty customizable for its time.
Hardball '94 and '95 were great on Genesis too.

Game arrived today. Lots of fun. Online play works too, although I doubt I'll be able to find anyone to play. It'll provide a change of pace on occasion for sure, though.  Playing with the new rosters is cool too.

I'll play you...if you take your pants off (dance off).

there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.
