Tough pitchers

I used to play with a buddy who was unreal at rbi. I used to think he had hacked into the game - in reality all he ever did was blow into the cartridge.  Heres my question - during tough series with him i would really work on getting all my batters the max number of pitches every at bat. this way i could slow his great pitching down even if it meant passing up alot of good strikes he threw at me. Well out of all my buds i was the only one who took him out in a series and thats in 5 years of all us rbi fanatics playing  endless tourneys. so i was wondering what other strats some of you curve ball players use to combat a great pitcher?

If you play 1 starter rule, then wearing down pitchers is very important.  Playing 2 starters, it's less important and you can't afford to take good pitches, but can still be an effective strategy.

Though still a curve rookie, you absolutely want to take pitches in one starter rule.  Get em out of there by the 5th

I couldn't really tell you any other strategy.  I use Boston a lot of the time and when the Rocket is tired and i put someone else in who knows what is going to happen.  We usually use 3 or 4 pitchers unless you got Rocket or Doc going 6 or 7. We just work the count and try to make the most of it when it comes down the cock.
