Run out of Pitchers?

so what happens?  say if you pinch hit for your last remaining pitcher in the bottom of the ninth and tie the game.  what happens if you dont win the game? is it an automatic tie/forfeit? can i get Phil Garner to pitch?

You can't pinch hit for your last pitcher, it won't let you.

I should double-check on RBI 3 as well - RBI 2&3 have full 24-man rosters but only allow five pitchers (two starters) per game, and my guess is that they work the same way.
