installing a controller

  Can anyone help me ,I'm trying to install controller to play rbi,installation is donr ,but not working anyone know what I can do to figure out this problem,thank you.

Please give more information if you expect to get help.  What controller, where did you get it, what operating system, what happens when you plug the controller in, is it USB or a different connectcor?

  Its a logitech dual action controller bought it at gamestop.

"installation is done" - does that mean that Windows detected and installed it?  Then you have to set it up in the emulator.  Go to Config->Input... (I think) in FCEUltra, select GamePad 1, and click the direction/button you want followed by pushing that direction/button on the gamepad.
