Game Summary:

As expected, Da ShitPaws' big bats delivered. But in the end, The Creamy Pirates received some timely hits from the bottom of their batting order to hang on to an 18-15 Fantast RBI League victory in a game played Thursday at Tengen Stadium. The Creamy Pirates' (2-0) Tom Brookens, Cal Ripken and Mike Heath bolstered the bottom of the batting order by going a combined 12 for 16 with 10 runs and eight RBI.

The Creamy Pirates would need every run to counter the offensive barrage of Da ShitPaws (0-2), who cracked seven home runs during the game. Dwight Evans hit a pair of home runs for Da ShitPaws, while Bob Boone added a home run and four RBI.

However, Da ShitPaws were done in by a lack of timely hitting. They stranded 12 runners during the game, and went a relatively paltry 6 for 17 with runners in scoring position. By contrast, The Creamy Pirates were 16 for 27 with runners in scoring position.
