We are the only two people to be great enough to be included on both the NES and Arcade versions of RBI, but not good enough to start on either (bench players on both).

Who are we?

Good question, I cheated and now know

Me too.  I don't know the arcade version nearly well enough.

Correct, for some reason I couldn't think of Lopes, I knew it was Puhl or Thon, knew one of them started in the Arcade.

Also, note for Gantry, Puhl's "Year" in the arcade page is messed up says 1937, assume it should have been 1987

If you asked me which teams, i would have replied Houston for both and been wrong.  Because of NES RBI, I always think Lopes was a career Astro (and not a Dodger) for some reason.

I think he had like 140 career ABs as an Astro

this player played in the playoffs against the team he would later play for playing in the playoffs, neither time winning the world series.

I believe Doug Decinces fits you're criteria (played for Baltimore against Cali then played in PS for Cali).  I think there are others that may fit criteria also.

good one, i'm thinking of at least one more, and i should clarify that it was the next time the team went to the playoffs, so i wasn't thinking of decinces.

This one had me going for over an hour.  I finally had to break down and check baseball-reference.com.  Don Sutton ('82 Brewers vs Angels, '86 Angels vs Boston)?
