Who Qualifies?

The Dee-Nee Tourney is around the corner, but before that...the qualifier must be played out.  Four guys go in...

Lips
Jason
Nick
Zorba

...two guys go on.

Going for Lips and my brother (Zorba).  Lips has the skils and experience and Zorba has the genes and tolerance to go the distance.  Of course he's only played about 10 games in his life, but he grew quite a bit in our training session yesterday.  Still has a little trouble with the flyballs, but he'll be ready come Saturday...

I'm gonna have to agree with GDavis, here. But for a different reason. I closed my eyes and picked them. Luck always beats logic.

Zorb needs all the help he can get...  Kind of a stupid topic when you think about it, as nobody knows Zorba or Nick.  And Jason is Vitb6 on the forums BTW...

And you will get a chance to see them play, because we are going to run the NES through a VCR that will be recording all the games.  After the tourney, we'll probably have a few videos of weird plays or glitches/BOPs.  Should be very cool...

Leave it to Lips, to make this thread.  However, my vote is Me and Nick.  It plays out like this.  Jamie plays me and loses in the 9th on a bop and Lips going fucking nuts.  He then plays Nick and is kicking the shit out of him and putting it in Nick's face.  Nick gets pissed...beats the shit out of Lips...Jamie is unable to continue.  Me and Nick have more experience than Zorb, therefore we go on.  However, Zorba seems to be playing more than all of us right now.  Kinda scary.

Trust me, you don't have to be scared of Zorb.  Even with the practice, he's played about a dozen games total now.  Trying to get him there, but I think we're going to run out of time....

I don't know any of you guys, yet I still felt compelled to vote.   I voted for Jason/Nick from a pure knowledge base standpoint.  Vitb6 has a firm grasp of the game and his expertise will be the deciding factor.
