The cool thing about baseball stars, is that it keeps stats.  The controls are the same as rbi II, and even the music is very similar to RBI.  
The thing that sucks about it, is you can finally get a kick ass team together with all the attributes you want, then you turn it on and the team you created is gone.
I went through a baseball stars phase once and absolutely loved it.  Then this started happening.  I eventually smashed one of my copies with a bat, and have not played that game since.

RBI has always treated me well.

Are you talking about Namco?  It is somehow related to Tengen, I think.
